An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 8th minute of play forced Opera OMNES's goalkeeper Tarcisio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Opera OMNES's goalkeeper Tarcisio Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Lara. The audience was convinced that Ippolit Kiryakov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarcisio Ortiz was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Opera OMNES got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Furtado. 14 minutes into the game, Bruninho Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Opera OMNES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GRÊMIO F.R G the free kick. In the 14th minute, Bruninho Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 乔庭松 came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the GRÊMIO F.R G fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 乔庭松 couldn't finish the play. Stanislaw Jucha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Basílio Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Tarcisio Ortiz managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when GRÊMIO F.R G's Reyes No fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reyes No's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Tarcisio Ortiz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of GRÊMIO F.R G booed when Opera OMNES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 23rd minute of play forced Opera OMNES's goalkeeper Tarcisio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GRÊMIO F.R G's Basílio Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarcisio Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes No in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Opera OMNES's zone, Erasmo Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Ortiz came out of the goal and Erasmo Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tarcisio Ortiz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GRÊMIO F.R G's Reyes No shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 33rd minute of play forced Opera OMNES's goalkeeper Tarcisio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reyes No sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Ortiz was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and José Maria Arce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Maria Arce really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 47th minute, 乔庭松 fired a really elegant long shot, but Tarcisio Ortiz threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Luiz Paulo Baptista got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 48th match minute, Opera OMNES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Faustão Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stanislaw Jucha fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opera OMNES's protests and gave Stanislaw Jucha a yellow card for diving instead. Stanislaw Jucha kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Tarcisio Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes No in the 56th minute of the match. Jerônimo Marques struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. André Döring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opera OMNES. Tarcisio Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes No, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Reyes No had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarcisio Ortiz. Opera OMNES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reyes No was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tarcisio Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Lara in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 86th minute of play forced Opera OMNES's goalkeeper Tarcisio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Reyes No ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tarcisio Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Tarcisio Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reyes No's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Ippolit Kiryakov took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Ortiz. Tarcisio Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the GRÊMIO F.R G players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
