Unión AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lisandro Matxin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Segundo Nofre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Unión AFC's Gaspar Gervaso did a great save. Gaspar Gervaso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Nofre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. Jimeno Cordearo's late challenge caught a Unión AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Cordearo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Triperos's Jimeno Cordearo got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Unión AFC's Gaspar Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vadalá in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Unión AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Ovando to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Los Triperos's Guido Vadalá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Gervaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. The supporters of Unión AFC booed when Los Triperos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Ignado couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Los Triperos's Segundo Nofre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Gervaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Gaspar Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Jerano in the 86th minute of the match. Jimeno Cordearo scored 9-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Gervaso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Triperos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
