Christian Eli made the kick off and thus started the match. Segundo Lawrence scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Resto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Segundo Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 陈桑邦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Presebal having to interfere. If Carlos Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Eli in the 13th minute of play forced Don Quijote's goalkeeper Julian Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Chico was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, one of Don Quijote:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Don Quijote. The referee gave Pillahuincó a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Astor Handi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Don Quijote's Julian Resto. 0-2. In the 27th minute, Eduardo Orlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornelio Presebal made an important save on a dangerous shot by 陈桑邦 in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Pillahuincó's Segundo Lawrence sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Resto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Don Quijote's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Astor Handi was slow to take the kick. During this time Pillahuincó's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Astor Handi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Don Quijote's Julian Resto did a great save. The supporters of Don Quijote booed when Pillahuincó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Don Quijote getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bruno Quintana hit a great ball. After 45 minutes of play, Pillahuincó's Astor Handi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, Christian Eli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julian Resto. The goal made the score 0-4. The supporters of Pillahuincó booed when Don Quijote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Don Quijote got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Orlo. After a defensive mix-up in Pillahuincó's zone, 陈桑邦 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Presebal came out of the goal and 陈桑邦 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Eli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Bras took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julian Resto. Don Quijote's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eduardo Orlo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Don Quijote's Julian Resto got control of the ball when Segundo Lawrence tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, 陈桑邦 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Don Quijote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 89 minutes into the match, Don Quijote's goalkeeper Julian Resto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Lawrence. Julian Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Eli in the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Don Quijote lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
