Arroyito's Eustacio Claus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyito from getting a goal against them. If Inocencio Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eustacio Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LaMaquinita's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Gonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edelmiro Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Venerando was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arroyito's goalkeeper Eustacio Claus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Edelmiro Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LaMaquinita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Gonzo took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Claus. Eustacio Claus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Eustacio Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sebastian Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Emesto having to interfere. The Arroyito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Claus should have stopped the shot. Ermegildo Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Emesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Venerando in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyito's zone, Ermegildo Gonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Claus came out of the goal and Ermegildo Gonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LaMaquinita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
