Dario Cordara was slow to take the kick. During this time El Barza FC's players had a chance to rest. Claudio Ortzi tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ciriaco Emesto. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 26th minute. Victor Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Gonzo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cecilio Pacho came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by LaMaquinita's Ermegildo Gonzo. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Gonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Higinio Hurko came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the El Barza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Hurko couldn't finish the play. LaMaquinita's Ciriaco Emesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Nardo in the 62nd minute of play. Ermegildo Gonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cecilio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Marcelino Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. LaMaquinita's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Pacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victor Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Ermegildo Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, LaMaquinita's Ermegildo Gonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Pacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cecilio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Gonzo in the 93rd minute of the match.
