Justino Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Plate's Pedro Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Katia in the 34th minute of play. When River Plate's Nestor Cisco, in the 37th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. Nestor Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Arenales getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bernardo Francesco hit a great ball.
