Everardo Bide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Epifanio Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joaquin Dunixi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Marull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Dunixi couldn't finish the play. Serafin Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Astrada having to interfere. Joaquin Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sixto Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, The Chapions's Sixto Astrada got control of the ball when Serafin Benitez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Epifanio Theobald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marull's Epifanio Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Bide in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquin Dunixi made a kick off. When Joaquin Dunixi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Marull fans jumped to their feet. Epifanio Theobald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Bide got free with Epifanio Theobald in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sixto Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Joaquin Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Bide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Epifanio Theobald made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Monte in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Theobald saved Marull from getting behind. If Everardo Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Luis Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Marull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Nesor to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Baldomero Cordairo led 87 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Marull's Epifanio Theobald became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Chapions eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
