In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorrillos FC- OFF's goalkeeper Melquiades Benet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Solo Vélez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chorrillos FC- OFF.
