If Isidoro Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on Cordoba FC's corner Francisco Sotil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauricio Abeitia quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Cordoba FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jonathan Jaunti hit a great ball. Tammo Zippel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mauricio Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Cordoba FC's Mauricio Abeitia threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felix Maule, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 28 minutes of play, Cordoba FC's Isidoro Atarrabi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Abeitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Tammo Zippel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Abeitia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Tammo Zippel came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cordoba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tammo Zippel couldn't finish the play. Los pinos's Mauricio Abeitia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Los pinos from getting a goal against them. Tammo Zippel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Los pinos's Mauricio Abeitia got control of the ball when Ildefonso Evis tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Ramond to make the kick off. Ildefonso Evis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los pinos's zone, Ildefonso Evis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Abeitia came out of the goal and Ildefonso Evis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Domenec hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Los pinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Nicolas Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Felix Maule ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Abeitia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Isidoro Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isidoro Atarrabi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cordoba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Atarrabi couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Felix Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Benjamin Bernard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los pinos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cordoba FC the free kick. After 81 played minutes Los pinos got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Bernard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Sotil in the 82nd minute of play forced Los pinos's goalkeeper Mauricio Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ildefonso Evis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Abeitia having to interfere. Isidoro Atarrabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Abeitia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tammo Zippel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordoba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tammo Zippel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Abeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
