Cristian Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Thomas in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Nordicos booed when KaDoRnA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Ciro Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Teo Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. KaDoRnA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute of the match Guido Rivero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Pes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Thomas struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cristian Balendin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nordicos. Erasmo Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Pes having to interfere. If Daniel Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, KaDoRnA FC's Cristian Balendin got control of the ball when Ciro Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Ciro Pueblo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes KaDoRnA FC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Peli. Amado Librado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cristian Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Celestino Pes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Columbo in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KaDoRnA FC's goalkeeper Cristian Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, KaDoRnA FC's Erasmo Columbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Pes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in KaDoRnA FC's zone, Ciro Pueblo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Balendin came out of the goal and Ciro Pueblo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Ciro Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Thomas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Balendin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play.
