The tension between the Reaktor Göteborg and the Hisingens Hunkar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hisingens Hunkar booed when Reaktor Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Valrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Stolpe having to interfere. When Karl-Erik Söderkvist fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reaktor Göteborg's protests and gave Karl-Erik Söderkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Karl-Erik Söderkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Wahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Birger Stolpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Valrot in the 12th minute of play. Birger Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Wahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Karl-Oskar Tidéksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Backlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Kenny Lenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hisingens Hunkar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reaktor Göteborg the free kick. In the 16th minute, Kenny Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reaktor Göteborg's Karl-Oskar Tidéksson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Oskar Tidéksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Backlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Tidéksson in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Birger Söderström made a precise shot to the right of Axel Backlund. Hisingens Hunkar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee gave Reaktor Göteborg a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Börje Ekström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hisingens Hunkar's Axel Backlund. 2-0. Axel Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Tidéksson in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Valrot made a kick off. With a little luck, Reaktor Göteborg's Birger Stolpe got control of the ball when Felix Valrot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reaktor Göteborg's Birger Stolpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Reaktor Göteborg from getting a goal against them. Dag Kellman got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th match minute, Reaktor Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Kellman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hisingens Hunkar's zone, Ove Häger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Backlund came out of the goal and Ove Häger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes, Olof Britz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hisingens Hunkar and the Reaktor Göteborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olof Britz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Birger Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Birger Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reaktor Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Birger Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Backlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Valrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Birger Stolpe made a huge save. Felix Valrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Forssell in the 95th minute of the match. If Felix Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reaktor Göteborg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hisingens Hunkar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
