With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carter Paolucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carter Paolucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Glozor in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Abelardo Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aries Fc's Carter Paolucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ferruccio Stella came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the V S C 3 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Stella couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Stella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carter Paolucci. Aries Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferruccio Stella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Ledesma in the 25th minute of play forced Aries Fc's goalkeeper Carter Paolucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Paolucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Stella in the 26th minute of play. Abelardo Ledesma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carter Paolucci having to make a save. Ferruccio Stella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Carter Paolucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aries Fc's zone, Abelardo Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Paolucci came out of the goal and Abelardo Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carter Paolucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for V S C 3. In the 48th minute Abelardo Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Paolucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
