Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elvis Töpfer started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Elvis Töpfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Bechmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Bechmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvis Töpfer in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, SV Berkenbrück's Thorsten Hoffman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Bechmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Klas Josefsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benjamin Bechmann to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute, SV Berkenbrück's Klas Josefsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Thorsten Hoffman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benjamin Bechmann firmly grabbed it by the left post. The throw-in from Frechoso Tare in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HSVHamburg's Kornelius Hens. Benjamin Bechmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Bechmann was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Thorsten Hoffman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thorsten Hoffman really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. 41 minutes into the match, HSVHamburg's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Josefsson came free, but Benjamin Bechmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Bechmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Bechmann came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Berkenbrück's Thorsten Hoffman. But to his dismay, Thorsten Hoffman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-1. HSVHamburg's Benjamin Bechmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorsten Hoffman in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the SV Berkenbrück players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
