In the 6th minute, Klas Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Möllring hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Robin Trillkott was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of SV Berkenbrück booed when Persija JKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Marek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Maislinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Töpfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Klaus Schuchter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute, Persija JKT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Marek to maneuver through the defense. Elvis Töpfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Maislinger having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Klaus Schuchter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meik Amsel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Elvis Töpfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Maislinger having to interfere. Alfonso Möllring hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Robin Trillkott came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SV Berkenbrück fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Trillkott couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Persija JKT got a freekick which was hit by Arno Tiedgen. Elvis Töpfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Persija JKT's goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Töpfer came free, but Hubert Maislinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvis Töpfer made a kick off. Persija JKT's Hubert Maislinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorsten Hoffman in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Max Rachel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Persija JKT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Berkenbrück the free kick. Hubert Maislinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Töpfer in the 68th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Herbert Marek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 78th match minute, SV Berkenbrück was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvis Töpfer to maneuver through the defense. Thorsten Hoffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubert Maislinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Töpfer in the 83rd minute of play. If Elvis Töpfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Amsel came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Persija JKT's Herbert Marek. But to his dismay, Herbert Marek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Klaus Schuchter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Persija JKT's Max Rachel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see SV Berkenbrück lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
