That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 28th minute, Thorsten Hoffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, SV Berkenbrück's goal looked a bit too open when Pepe Bluhm came free, but Niclas Amsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Josefsson got free with Dimitar Sohlmann in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Groß Grabenstedt FSV's goalkeeper Dimitar Sohlmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorsten Hoffman. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Roman Tolkmitt made the kick off in the second half. Thorsten Hoffman might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitar Sohlmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorsten Hoffman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ingemar Klüting charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingemar Klüting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Groß Grabenstedt FSV getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ingemar Klüting hit a great ball. Henry Tartemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Groß Grabenstedt FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Thorsten Hoffman came free, but Dimitar Sohlmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Groß Grabenstedt FSV's Tamino Melkis got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thorsten Hoffman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitar Sohlmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Thorsten Hoffman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitar Sohlmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dimitar Sohlmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Groß Grabenstedt FSV's Roman Tolkmitt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niclas Amsel. Niclas Amsel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 89th minute Tamino Melkis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Amsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Roman Tolkmitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitar Sohlmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Töpfer in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SV Berkenbrück had played much better football throughout.
