Tjorven Heremans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Remi Hoeybroeck got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Terry Van Geertruyden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RFC Schufferskapelle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tjorven Heremans in the 21st minute of play forced RFC Schufferskapelle's goalkeeper Anthoon De Hooge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RFC Schufferskapelle's Anthoon De Hooge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save RFC Schufferskapelle from getting a goal against them. Tjorven Heremans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anthoon De Hooge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gery Kerckmans hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Van Geertruyden came free, but Willem-Alexander van Hagenborgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Selebi-Phikwe's Anthoon De Hooge threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tjorven Heremans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 45 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Van Geertruyden came free, but Willem-Alexander van Hagenborgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terry Van Geertruyden made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Terry Van Geertruyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Alexander van Hagenborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joeri De Putter hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Mathieux Theuniers notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of RFC Schufferskapelle's Anthoon De Hooge. Anthoon De Hooge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joeri De Putter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthoon De Hooge having to interfere. Anthoon De Hooge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tjorven Heremans went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Mathieux Theuniers fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selebi-Phikwe's protests and gave Mathieux Theuniers a yellow card for diving instead. When Mathieux Theuniers came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Selebi-Phikwe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieux Theuniers couldn't finish the play. Tjorven Heremans took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthoon De Hooge. Anthoon De Hooge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. RFC Schufferskapelle's Terry Van Geertruyden got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terry Van Geertruyden might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willem-Alexander van Hagenborgh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terry Van Geertruyden ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Joeri De Putter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terry Van Geertruyden might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willem-Alexander van Hagenborgh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terry Van Geertruyden ran back to his position shaking his head. Selebi-Phikwe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
