Stan Lefevere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas Cappelsmans in the 8th minute of play. Nicolaas Gressens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Liboton having to make a save. Toon Roscams hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Axel Gallot's late challenge caught a Berliner Bären's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Gallot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Berliner Bären booed when Dutch Rebels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Gallot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanny Godts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Nicolaas Gressens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolaas Gressens took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Liboton. Lars Liboton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nicolaas Gressens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Liboton having to interfere. Dutch Rebels's Henri Decorte got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Liboton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanny Godts in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nicolaas Gressens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dutch Rebels's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolaas Gressens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Liboton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanny Godts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lars Liboton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanny Godts made a kick off. When Stanny Godts came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Dutch Rebels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanny Godts couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Berliner Bären's zone, Nicolaas Gressens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Liboton came out of the goal and Nicolaas Gressens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Liboton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolaas Gressens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dutch Rebels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henri Decorte in the 70th minute. The supporters of Dutch Rebels booed when Berliner Bären was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Van Deinze didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nicolaas Gressens came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Dutch Rebels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolaas Gressens couldn't finish the play. Nicolaas Gressens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Axel Gallot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joonatan Cortens charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joonatan Cortens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Joonatan Cortens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastian Steenberghs didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Dutch Rebels were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Berliner Bären to leave the ground with a draw.
