FC Hawaii's Mats Krogstad pulled a muscle in his back after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 7 minutes into the game, Ismael Ishmael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Klingsmoos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hawaii the free kick. FC Hawaii made a substitution. Klaus Gawletta replaced Mats Krogstad. In the 8th match minute, SV Klingsmoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Klaus Gawletta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zhou Jian Chao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edbert Scherbaum's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Klaus Gawletta made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by He Shu Tian. Wang Peng Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Shu Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Früh in the 35th minute of play forced FC Hawaii's goalkeeper Zhou Jian Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Klingsmoos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yao Ying Zhen in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Yao Ying Zhen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zhou Jian Chao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Hawaii's goalkeeper Zhou Jian Chao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Wang Peng Zhi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of SV Klingsmoos booed when FC Hawaii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Olivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Yao Ying Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He Shu Tian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wang Peng Zhi having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when He Shu Tian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Farina hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, FC Hawaii's goal looked a bit too open when Edbert Scherbaum came free, but Zhou Jian Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Klaus Gawletta with Oktay Akça as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, FC Hawaii's Sherman Tran got a free kick in the 57th minute. The long shot by Yao Ying Zhen in the 57th minute really tested Zhou Jian Chao's skills. The SV Klingsmoos fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when SV Klingsmoos's Edbert Scherbaum looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SV Klingsmoos made a substitution. Wang Peng Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Shu Tian in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, FC Hawaii's goalkeeper Zhou Jian Chao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Ishmael. 83 minutes into the match, Cordeiro Viejo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SV Klingsmoos's Wang Peng Zhi. Wang Peng Zhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Hawaii's Othmar Plank was substituted for Cordeiro Viejo. FC Hawaii made a substitution.
