In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salcedo AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Salomone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Santillán getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Adan Urtsin hit a great ball. Francisco Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Danilo Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Santillán booed when Salcedo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Nahia in the 18th minute of the match. Gaspar Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Salcedo AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Uriel Frasco hit a great ball. Tiburcio Salomone made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bruno Opilano sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, Salcedo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Frasco to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Austin having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Romelio made a kick off. Tiburcio Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Nahia in the 51st minute of play. After 55 minutes, Benigno Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santillán and the Salcedo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Benigno Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Santillán getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ivan Hug hit a great ball. Tiburcio Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Opilano in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Santillán's Arturo Natal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Salomone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tiburcio Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Godoy in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Klas Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Benigno Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Godoy in the 90th minute of play. Tiburcio Salomone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Natal went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
