In the 7th minute, CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA's Marcelo Cardarda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ur Momparte. Ur Momparte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Hernando Herreros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ur Momparte, 2-0. Hernando Herreros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ur Momparte having to interfere. Hernando Herreros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hernando Herreros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sol Urquiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azibar Oterino in the 25th minute of the match. Fero Arecha made a great header on Rodriguez FC's corner, it was just that CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA's Sol Urquiza managed to reach the ball for a save. 27 minutes into the game, Mitxaut Losado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodriguez FC the free kick. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Hernando Herreros took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Ur Momparte to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernando Herreros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Azibar Oterino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodriguez FC's goalkeeper Ur Momparte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Hernando Herreros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ur Momparte was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Hernando Herreros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernando Herreros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernando Herreros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ur Momparte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitxaut Losado's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute Hernando Herreros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ur Momparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ur Momparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernando Herreros, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Mitxaut Losado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 84 minutes, Pablo-Enrique Tezanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodriguez FC and the CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitxaut Losado in the 93rd minute of play forced Rodriguez FC's goalkeeper Ur Momparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernando Herreros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ur Momparte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA's Hernando Herreros got a free kick in the 96th minute. CLUB NACIONAL DE TALA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
