The supporters of Carmelo booed when Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Calleja didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes, Bermund Conllas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmelo and the Ferreira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clodio Pineda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martino Alcubierre firmly grabbed it by the left post. Clodio Pineda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Martino Alcubierre made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perrando Eraso in the 24th minute of play forced Carmelo's goalkeeper Martino Alcubierre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Carmelo's goalkeeper Martino Alcubierre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodio Pineda. 26 minutes into the match, Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Lamberto Riegas came free, but Silvino Ripol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferreira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
