Grzegorz Siekierski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Jones. Oliver Rajkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerwin Broerse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of MZetowe Mastodonty booed when FC Jones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Jones's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
