Carlos Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasto Cobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Erasto Cobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Snaza to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 高翔星 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thierry Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roberto Trotta's late challenge caught a RAMBO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasto Cobo in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Navarro Montoya, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. RAMBO FC's Eduard Voinescu was substituted for Stig-Arne Ekerot. Roberto Trotta made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RAMBO FC's Mirkelam Helvacıoğlu. In the 94th minute, 高翔星 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GuateFortín walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
