The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Georg Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frasier Huber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Georg Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frasier Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frasier Huber sped through Ofensywni Massen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georg Kobel. Georg Kobel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frasier Huber's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. SalentoUnited's Igor Brandenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SalentoUnited from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frasier Huber in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Kobel saved Ofensywni Massen from getting behind. Georg Kobel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frasier Huber's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ofensywni Massen's goalkeeper Georg Kobel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Frasier Huber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georg Kobel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Kobel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 minutes Ofensywni Massen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ergincan Suerkan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ergincan Suerkan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ofensywni Massen's Georg Kobel did a great save. 36 minutes into the game, Frasier Huber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Georg Kobel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SalentoUnited's attentive Patrice Brechbühl managed to snatch the ball when Martin Wal made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Salvadore in the 44th minute of play forced SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Igor Brandenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ofensywni Massen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Frasier Huber placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Salvadore was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Georg Kobel. That made the score 0-6 after 59 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Jonasson in the 64th minute of play forced SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Igor Brandenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Frasier Huber put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Georg Kobel. Georg Kobel was a little too slow when Frasier Huber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-8. SalentoUnited made a substitution. Manfred Bayer replaced Frasier Huber. In the 78th minute of the match SalentoUnited got a corner. Ofensywni Massen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ergincan Suerkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SalentoUnited's Ergincan Suerkan to fire away a dangerous shot which Georg Kobel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes in the game Martin Wal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Martin Wal. SalentoUnited's Patrice Brechbühl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Wal in the 85 minute of the game. With his leg Georg Kobel managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when SalentoUnited's Manfred Bayer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute, Manfred Bayer made a precise shot to the right of Georg Kobel. Ofensywni Massen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. SalentoUnited's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
