Filipo Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ronald Ellehauge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Aresti Pareja hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Da Silva in the 16th minute of play forced CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Ronald Ellehauge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Firman in the 38th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Filipo Abeita came free, but Ronald Ellehauge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Aresti Pareja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aresti Pareja, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Ronald Ellehauge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Abadia. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bolivia made a substitution. Alejandro Montenegro replaced Miguel Abadia. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaizko Abaurre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Ellehauge having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Gaizko Abaurre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronald Ellehauge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A well done corner resulted in Ruben Da Silva drilling the ball in to score 5-0 behind CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper. After some careless play in the CORINTHIANS defense, Ruben Da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronald Ellehauge. The CORINTHIANS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Ellehauge should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bolivia booed when CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Ellehauge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaizko Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Bolivia's Muc Abeita made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronald Ellehauge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronald Ellehauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Da Silva in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Da Silva in the 83rd minute of play forced CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Ronald Ellehauge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CORINTHIANS's Ronald Ellehauge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muc Abeita in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Montenegro came free, but Ronald Ellehauge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronald Ellehauge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
