With a little luck, Kattvik kings's Helge Elg got control of the ball when Ye Chen Guang tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 8 minutes on the clock, Kaj Hedberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kattvik kings! Ye Chen Guang walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Wincent Sikola took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Helge Elg to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute, Gösta Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. D.J. Duch was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Rembertów DJs's Jakub Gmoch seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jakub Gmoch the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rembertów DJs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jakub Gmoch had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Rembertów DJs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Gmoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Jakub Gmoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rembertów DJs's goalkeeper Achille Boninsegna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rembertów DJs's Klement Maziarski got a free kick in the 23rd minute. D.J. Drum might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helge Elg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. D.J. Drum ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Karl-Åke Johansson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Helge Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincent Sikola in the 38th minute. Helge Elg made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Wincent Sikola sent off a good shot on target. Rembertów DJs's D.J. Ziemniak got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. D.J. Drum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Klement Maziarski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Helge Elg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 45 minutes, Ye Chen Guang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rembertów DJs and the Kattvik kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ye Chen Guang hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match Bertil Bäckman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achille Boninsegna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. D.J. Drum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rembertów DJs made a substitution. Martin Wennerquist replaced Wincent Sikola. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Majman was the one to do the kick off. The Rembertów DJs fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Rembertów DJs's D.J. Drum looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Helge Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Ziemniak in the 61st minute of play. Martin Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Helge Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kattvik kings getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gösta Jakobsson hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, D.J. Duch sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kattvik kings's Helge Elg didn't even have to move. After having played for 72 minutes, Robby Baggio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rembertów DJs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robby Baggio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes Kattvik kings got a freekick which was hit by Simon Eliasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Baggio in the 74th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Helge Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, D.J. Ziemniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rembertów DJs's supporters crossed their fingers, but D.J. Ziemniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Martin Wennerquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helge Elg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Kattvik kings's Helge Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Baggio in the 89th minute of play. Rembertów DJs's Achille Boninsegna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Rembertów DJs from getting a goal against them. In the 97th match minute, Rembertów DJs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Wennerquist to maneuver through the defense. Rembertów DJs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
