An unexpectedly hard shot by Olliver Van Beylen in the 4th minute of play forced Bay Harbor Butchers's goalkeeper Oskar Welter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stéphane Grasmück hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bay Harbor Butchers booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Fouquet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Purple Talents's goalkeeper Daniel Van Caubergen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lucien De Neuter hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Bay Harbor Butchers got a freekick which was hit by Günther Muller. 32 minutes into the match, Jelle Fouquet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oskar Welter. Bay Harbor Butchers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jelle Fouquet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Julian Bruch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purple Talents's Daniel Van Caubergen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Julian Bruch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bay Harbor Butchers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Talents the free kick. Julian Bruch kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Lucien De Neuter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talents's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucien De Neuter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Purple Talents's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucien De Neuter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Harry Hasselbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Van Caubergen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Purple Talents's goalkeeper Daniel Van Caubergen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Bay Harbor Butchers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Purple Talents's performance. The match ended with a win for Purple Talents.
