In the 17th minute, Terence Nicholas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Santo Incera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terence Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Incera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terence Nicholas in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terence Nicholas in the 21st minute of play forced C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Santo Incera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Husky's Santo Incera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Husky from getting a goal against them. The supporters of C.A. Husky booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Coulter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Incera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titus Kohler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Grönholm came free, but Errol Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errol Sharpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eero Grönholm's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Tolin was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Husky's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, C.A. Husky's Santo Incera got control of the ball when Tyron Velasquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Santo Incera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyron Velasquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Mayor in the 42nd minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Errol Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Mayor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simon Mayor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Errol Sharpe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 51 minutes, Alvaro Tolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Husky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Tolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Diego Polenta in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Santos FC's Thanh Darden. Tyron Velasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Incera having to interfere. Eero Grönholms short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Errol Sharpe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Eero Grönholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Polenta hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. C.A. Husky's Sarmis Logs was substituted for Eero Grönholm. In the 67th match minute, C.A. Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Polenta to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, C.A. Husky's Diego Polenta got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Terence Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanh Darden to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Simon Mayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errol Sharpe came out of the goal and Simon Mayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Tolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Errol Sharpe made a huge save. Errol Sharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Mayor in the 78th minute of the match. Reyes Ritter hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Santos FC's Errol Sharpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Santos FC from getting a goal against them. C.A. Husky's Simon Mayor got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sarmis Logs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Errol Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antero Otero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, C.A. Husky's Sarmis Logs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Errol Sharpe. Errol Sharpe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Many of C.A. Husky's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. C.A. Husky may have spent more time on the ball, but Santos FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
