In the 3rd minute Juan Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Araoz came free, but Celsinho Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Juan Pirlo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Celsinho Novaes to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Víktor Furtado hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, SRP-Laguna's Luiz Fernando Valladares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Fernando Valladares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SRP-Laguna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Fernando Valladares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute, Luiz Fernando Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Gaufred in the 16th minute. Wilson Sousa took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Fonda. Desiderio Fonda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Celsinho Novaes was a little too slow when Tiziano Pirlo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. After 24 played minutes AC 1986 Vinalito got a freekick which was hit by Tiziano Pirlo. 34 minutes into the game, Tiziano Pirlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Celsinho Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Luis Oliveiro made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Novaes. SRP-Laguna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Celsinho Novaes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiziano Pirlo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 42 minute of play. The supporters of AC 1986 Vinalito booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Oliveiro was the one to do the kick off. Celsinho Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Araoz went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Maximo Araoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celsinho Novaes. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celsinho Novaes should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the game, AC 1986 Vinalito's Luis Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celsinho Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. AC 1986 Vinalito's Desiderio Fonda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save AC 1986 Vinalito from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Pirlo in the 65th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Celsinho Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 68 minutes into the match, Luis Oliveiro notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of SRP-Laguna's Celsinho Novaes. Celsinho Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celsinho Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pirlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Wilson Sousa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. SRP-Laguna's Celsinho Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Araoz in the 75th minute of play. Celsinho Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiziano Pirlo went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Juan Pirlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Maximo Araoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celsinho Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. Elias Gaufred charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Gaufred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC 1986 Vinalito getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Elias Gaufred hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Araoz in the 95th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Celsinho Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that AC 1986 Vinalito were the better team. AC 1986 Vinalito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
