The audience thought a goal was coming when Remicio Barrenechea got free with Tomé Queirós in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iigo Ledo took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Queirós. Tomé Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 30th minute of the match, Delfino Zalona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomé Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Iigo Ledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Carlos Baía hit a great ball. LA COSA NOSTRA's Tomé Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save LA COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Tomé Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Brites in the 43rd minute of play forced Airetupal EXC's goalkeeper Fabian Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfino Zalona in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remicio Barrenechea to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomé Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cifontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Iigo Ledo's late challenge caught a LA COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iigo Ledo helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Airetupal EXC got a freekick which was hit by Iigo Ledo. Nuno Castelo Brancos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Fabian Wielkopolski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabian Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Arruda in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Salamon Roig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Cortez in the 63rd minute of play. Airetupal EXC's Fabian Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Arruda in the 64th minute of play. Angelo Cifontes scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Tomé Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delfino Zalona hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Hipólito Camargo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Remicio Barrenechea notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of LA COSA NOSTRA's Tomé Queirós. Tomé Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. LA COSA NOSTRA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
