The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Mathy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenz Petris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Vieri in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Mathy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Mathy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Korpetis in the 14th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Grigoris Korpetis sped through Het Koffiehuis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Mathy. In the 21st minute Lorenz Petris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Mathy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Het Koffiehuis's Marcus Mathy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Vieri in the 29th minute of play. Marcus Mathy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Korpetis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Douglas Cornelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiel Van Wontergem hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marcus Mathy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Korpetis in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Het Koffiehuis got a freekick which was hit by Jullian Hellemons. Marcus Mathy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigoris Korpetis went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Grigoris Korpetis struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcus Mathy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kogimyae JK. Het Koffiehuis's Marcus Mathy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson 慕容 in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson 慕容 in the 43rd minute of play forced Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Marcus Mathy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigoris Korpetis scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Mathy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Het Koffiehuis's Carl Grammet got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cristian Vieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marcus Mathy made a huge save. Florin Dragușin made a great header on Kogimyae JK's corner, it was just that Het Koffiehuis's Marcus Mathy managed to reach the ball for a save. Grigoris Korpetis scored 0-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Mathy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Marcus Mathy managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Kogimyae JK's Grigoris Korpetis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute of the match, Cristian Vieri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcus Mathy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcus Mathy was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Denílson 慕容 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Denílson 慕容 really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. 75 minutes into the game, Denílson 慕容 lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Marcus Mathy. Marcus Mathy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigoris Korpetis in the 78th minute. Marcus Mathy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Korpetis in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Kogimyae JK's Grigoris Korpetis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. If Cristian Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Kogimyae JK's Marcus Mathy threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lorenz Petris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenz Petris in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Mathy saved Het Koffiehuis from getting behind. Kogimyae JK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
