Vladimir Toledo got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Freddy Marquez. Maltichas F.C.'s João Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vambola Kalev in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Maltichas F.C. defense, Jude Sandoval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Guimarães. The Maltichas F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Guimarães should have stopped the shot. If Pál Nagy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jude Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. João Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Guimarães came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by MILLONARIOS FC's Vambola Kalev. But to his dismay, Vambola Kalev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 84th minute, Vambola Kalev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Ernesto Wolter hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vambola Kalev in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Guimarães saved Maltichas F.C. from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Jude Sandoval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MILLONARIOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maltichas F.C.'s goalkeeper João Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
