With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincente Sánchez in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eneko Alvarez saved Mas que Vencedores 1988 from getting behind. Vincente Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eneko Alvarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Severino Campelo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincente Sánchez in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eneko Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Ubavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the game, Real Cartagena's Vincente Sánchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eneko Alvarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st minute Vincente Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Constantin Istrătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eneko Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincente Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eneko Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincente Sánchez in the 45th minute of the match. Vincente Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eneko Alvarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The wind increased when Johan Lång made the kick off in the second half. Lekubegi Almirall hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Real Cartagena's Camilo Toral got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johan Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Aguilar having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Vincente Sánchez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mas que Vencedores 1988's Eneko Alvarez. Eneko Alvarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The shot was a little too simple and Eneko Alvarez could save by the left post.
