After a rather tough play, Larrosa's Zabal Sarra got a free kick in the 4th minute. Patricio Escapa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Goveo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Berbiz Besteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larrosa's Patricio Escapa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Jaunti Colmenares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Goveo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaunti Colmenares in the 28th minute of play forced Gualicho's goalkeeper Ricardo Goveo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eneko Onil came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Gualicho's Navarro Mauricio. But to his dismay, Navarro Mauricio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Patricio Escapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Larrosa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Favila Trasagua hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaunti Colmenares in the 43rd minute of play forced Gualicho's goalkeeper Ricardo Goveo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berbiz Besteiro to make the kick off. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Larrosa's goalkeeper Eneko Onil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaunti Colmenares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Goveo having to interfere. Patricio Escapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Patricio Escapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Goveo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Goveo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaunti Colmenares in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Larrosa were the better team. Larrosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
