Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Endura Espinareda got the match started through his kick off. Chilcas's Maximo Borrellino got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Borrellino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Goveo having to interfere. Gualicho's Serafino Echaitia suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. Corderun Dobale charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corderun Dobale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chilcas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Corderun Dobale hit a great ball. If Navarro Mauricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Maximo Borrellino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dolcet Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Mauricio in the 29th minute of play. If Navarro Mauricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chilcas's Corderun Dobale got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Navarro Mauricio to make the kick off. Ricardo Goveo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Borrellino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txordon Canado kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ricardo Goveo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endura Espinareda in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chilcas's zone, Navarro Mauricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dolcet Patiño came out of the goal and Navarro Mauricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Endura Espinareda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ricardo Goveo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endura Espinareda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Maximo Borrellino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gualicho's Ricardo Goveo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes Chilcas got a freekick which was hit by Efren Tamajon. When Navarro Mauricio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gualicho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Navarro Mauricio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gualicho booed when Chilcas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menendo Miar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Goveo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endura Espinareda in the 72nd minute of the match. Gualicho's Ricardo Goveo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Borrellino in the 75th minute of play. After 80 played minutes, Chilcas's Florin Altares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Goveo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chilcas reached it. Dolcet Patiño came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Gualicho's Navarro Mauricio. But to his dismay, Navarro Mauricio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ricardo Goveo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endura Espinareda in the 86th minute of the match. Ricardo Goveo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endura Espinareda in the 89th minute of play. If Maximo Borrellino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Efren Tamajon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gualicho supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gualicho would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
