Blumenau Esporte Clube's Cássio Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luís Paulo Saldanha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joélson Trancoso in the 19 minute of the game. Perivaldo Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Süruri Şahbey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blumenau Esporte Clube. After 23 minutes, Perivaldo Sampaio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ainoan ∞'s Süruri Şahbey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Sampaio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Süruri Şahbey, 4-0. Tomás Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Ainoan ∞'s goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Tepedino came free, but Süruri Şahbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Marquez in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ainoan ∞'s goalkeeper Süruri Şahbey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Sampaio. After 39 played minutes Ainoan ∞ got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Viana. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luís Paulo Saldanha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joélson Trancoso, made in the 42nd minute of the game. If Perivaldo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ainoan ∞'s Süruri Şahbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Ainoan ∞ from getting a goal against them. When Joélson Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ainoan ∞'s protests and gave Joélson Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Ainoan ∞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perivaldo Sampaio to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luís Paulo Saldanha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Viana in the 54th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 72nd minute Perivaldo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süruri Şahbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ainoan ∞'s Süruri Şahbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Tepedino in the 73rd minute of play. Süruri Şahbey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perivaldo Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Perivaldo Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Süruri Şahbey having to make a save. Süruri Şahbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Sampaio in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Sampaio in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Süruri Şahbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ainoan ∞'s Süruri Şahbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Sampaio in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Cássio Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Süruri Şahbey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio da Silva in the 91st minute of play forced Ainoan ∞'s goalkeeper Süruri Şahbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Blumenau Esporte Clube got a corner. Ainoan ∞'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonel Jacinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Blumenau Esporte Clube's Perivaldo Sampaio in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ainoan ∞'s goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Marquez in the 98th minute of the match.
