Santiago Llorian started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Llorian in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Ponc saved Buchardo FC from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Hugo Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes, Santiago Llorian made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Buchardo FC's Fermin Ponc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Ziya Usberk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fermin Ponc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Santiago Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Hugo Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Poeta Lugones FC's Santiago Llorian got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Santiago Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Berdaitz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Eleuterio Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Maximiliano Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Usberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Santiago Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poeta Lugones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Llorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Ponc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziya Usberk, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Ziya Usberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ziya Usberk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Poeta Lugones FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fermin Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziya Usberk in the 72nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Osasun during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 76 minutes, Ziya Usberk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poeta Lugones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziya Usberk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Poeta Lugones FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Isauro. When Silverio Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Buchardo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Gimenez couldn't finish the play. When Maximiliano Osasun was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. Maximiliano Osasun hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Zacarías Benítez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poeta Lugones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarías Benítez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Llorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Poeta Lugones FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Buchardo FC.
