Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roberto Cristofol got the match started through his kick off. Tomas Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Gau in the 3rd minute of play. After 8th play minutes Astor Rocendo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Adrian Gabon and just under the crossbar into goal. Adrian Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Rocendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Teofilo Monico lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Tomas Araoz. Teofilo Monico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Araoz having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Celestino Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Gau in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Araoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Gau in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Araoz saved LA NOXA from getting behind. LA NOXA's Tomas Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Gau in the 30th minute of play. Teofilo Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tomas Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Rocendo in the 34th minute of play. Ciro Gau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Tomas Araoz 36 minutes into the match. When Bernardo Honrio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ernestina's protests and gave Bernardo Honrio a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Ernestina got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Honrio. Ciro Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tomas Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Gau was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in LA NOXA's zone, Teofilo Monico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Araoz came out of the goal and Teofilo Monico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Ciro Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernestina's Ciro Gau got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ciro Gau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ernestina's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Gau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Rocendo got free with Adrian Gabon in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Koldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes LA NOXA got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Tulio. In the 80th minute Teofilo Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ciro Gau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Araoz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. When Emilio Omero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. A collision led to LA NOXA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Emilio Omero hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Ciro Gau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ernestina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Gau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Monico in the 90th minute of play forced LA NOXA's goalkeeper Tomas Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ernestina booed when LA NOXA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Cristofol during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
