The supporters of Tamberia booed when C.A Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tamberia fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Tamberia's Celestino Regis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Costel Zamfir struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Isaias Iigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamberia. Florentino Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Iigo having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Florentino Napier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Napier in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A Atlanta's goalkeeper Isaias Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the C.A Atlanta defense, Florentino Napier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Iigo. The C.A Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Iigo should have stopped the shot. Isaias Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Regis in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Iigo saved C.A Atlanta from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Tamberia's zone, Damian Balasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Quinton came out of the goal and Damian Balasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

C.A Atlanta's Isaias Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Serafino Ibañez got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 58th minute, Serafino Ibañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Lehoi in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Baldomiro Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Millan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Quinton. Tamberia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Eusebio Lehoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Quinton. Tamberia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Lehoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Florentino Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Iigo having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, C.A Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Zamfir came free, but Isaias Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Damian Balasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamberia the free kick. The long shot by Rigoberto Ourente in the 94th minute really tested Isaias Iigo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. C.A Atlanta's Isaias Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Regis in the 96th minute of play. The Tamberia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
