Castilla AFC's Silvio Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Cibran in the 25th minute of play. Roque Celino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luisito Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Oliviero hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ovidio Sanchez's late challenge caught a Ullún AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Castilla AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ovidio Sanchez hit a great ball. Baldomero Mercurio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Salvador Mazuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Cibran in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Claris saved Castilla AFC from getting behind. Silvio Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Cibran in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Balendin in the 51st minute of play forced Ullún AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Claris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Cibran in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ullún AFC booed when Castilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Caton didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Cibran couldn't finish the play. If Gilberto Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Celino got free with Luisito Sagrario in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Castilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Cibran came free, but Silvio Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
