A well-hit corner resulted in Lino Torres heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Las lilas fc fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Las lilas fc's Leon Diegotxe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Diego Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Lino Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Quiroga having to interfere. Leon Diegotxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Quiroga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Diegotxe ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Paulo Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Jesco got free with Guillermo Bela in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Mercurio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Bela came out and tried to block the shot, but Donato Mercurio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Aires made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Las lilas fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Loiola to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Erasmo Roldanillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Bela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 59 minutes, Florencio Vigil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las lilas fc and the MOE SATIVA players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Leon Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Diego Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Las lilas fc defense, Samuel Gai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Bela. The Las lilas fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Bela should have stopped the shot. After 72 minutes, Remigio Salvadore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Diegotxe got free with Paulo Quiroga in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Darío Benedetto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Diego Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las lilas fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Aires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Diego Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Las lilas fc were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing MOE SATIVA to leave the ground with a draw.
