Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 70) Higinio Pio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Arenales's Eugenio Gabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Marko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 7 minutes, Eugenio Gabino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arenales and the Junín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Arenales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Gabino to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Isidro Ireno from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Angelo Marko's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gregorio Patrido charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Patrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Junín got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Patrido. Arturo Quilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Marko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Junín's Higinio Pio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Lazcano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Marko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Higinio Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Junín's Higinio Pio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Lazcano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Asteri during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Arenales got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Asteri. Augusto Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Marko having to interfere. Angelo Marko came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arenales's Arturo Quilo. But to his dismay, Arturo Quilo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Francesco made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Arenales got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Asteri. A hard shot 55 in the game by Marco Hegoi from a close distance when the talented Cristobal Lazcano managed to make a qualified save. Arenales's players were relieved. When Marco Hegoi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Junín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Hegoi couldn't finish the play. When Inocencio Laurgain fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junín's protests and gave Inocencio Laurgain a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Arenales booed when Junín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arturo Quilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Junín's Angelo Marko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Quilo in the 72nd minute of play. Eugenio Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Marko having to interfere. A collision led to Junín getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gregorio Patrido hit a great ball. Bernardo Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Junín's Inocencio Laurgain got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arenales's Cristobal Lazcano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Arenales from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Higinio Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junín's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Pio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Francesco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Marko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
