Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artemio Rocio started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Javier Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SIMÓN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jaime Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Perico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Lluterio. Perico AFC's Jaime Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Rocio in the 10th minute of play. SIMÓN FC's Javier Cordero got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Perico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Rocio came free, but Jaime Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Gervasos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Timoteo Frances to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rdth minute of the game Fernando Diegotxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SIMÓN FC's Timoteo Frances was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, SIMÓN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Larra to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Frances made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Antonio Gervaso sent off a good shot on target. Artemio Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Umea charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Umea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Carlos Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Diegotxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Lugo's late challenge caught a Perico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SIMÓN FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leonardo Lugo hit a great ball. Perico AFC's Antonio Gervaso got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 54th match minute, SIMÓN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Larra to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Herauso during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diego Herauso hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Perico AFC's Anier Constancio in action when he in the 59th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Antonio Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Claudio Panpili notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SIMÓN FC's Timoteo Frances. Timoteo Frances was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Antonio Gervaso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timoteo Frances was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as SIMÓN FC's Artemio Rocio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaime Cayo. That made the score 1-1 after 74 minutes of play. After 77 played minutes SIMÓN FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Lugo. Antonio Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Frances having to interfere. Jaime Cayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Cordero in the 84th minute. If Artemio Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SIMÓN FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Perico AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
