In the 12th match minute, Mufaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. If Luciano Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 18 in the game by Luciano Ederono from a close distance when the talented Melquiades Fidele managed to make a qualified save. Mufaso FC's players were relieved. Diego Chinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Ederono to make the kick off. If Cleto Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Mufaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Chinto came free, but Melquiades Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Parque F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mufaso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
