In the 13th minute Edgard Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Confesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Bilintx scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Confesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Jimeno Venceslao made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Fidele. BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Lore was the one to do the kick off. If Jimeno Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sixto Estefan came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the CARCARAJO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Estefan couldn't finish the play. Jaime Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Fidele having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Jimeno Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CARCARAJO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Venceslao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th match minute, CARCARAJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Estefan to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Confesor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Bilintx's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Rogelio Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Bilintx in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Edgard Lore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rogelio Confesor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
