The referee ignored Republic of Jämtland's protests and gave Birger Lundberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atletiska Bollklubben booed when Republic of Jämtland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 5th minute Evert Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Lindman made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Isaac Strömbom sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Republic of Jämtland's Elliott Hääger got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Atletiska Bollklubben getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Thor Erserman hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Tingberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Villiam Lindman however easily saved by the left post. Villiam Lindman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Stenkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atletiska Bollklubben's Evert Söderkvist got a free kick in the 29th minute. Villiam Lindman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustaf Söderberg. Thor Erserman lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 34th minute, one of Atletiska Bollklubben:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletiska Bollklubben. Atletiska Bollklubben:s Villiam Lindman showed great skill when he stopped Robin Lundgren:s penalty. In the 41st minute, Christian Tingberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Republic of Jämtland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jens-Erik Svensson's late challenge caught a Republic of Jämtland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Erik Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atletiska Bollklubben's Jens-Erik Svensson got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Thomas Stenkvist made a precise shot to the right of Villiam Lindman. Atletiska Bollklubben's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 63 minutes, Mats Forssell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletiska Bollklubben and the Republic of Jämtland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Atletiska Bollklubben's zone, Kristian Nykvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Villiam Lindman came out of the goal and Kristian Nykvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Christian Tingberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Kristian Nykvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Republic of Jämtland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, Atletiska Bollklubben's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Tingberg came free, but Villiam Lindman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villiam Lindman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Nykvist in the 76th minute of the match. Republic of Jämtland's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Stenkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Villiam Lindman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Republic of Jämtland's Kristian Nykvist got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Republic of Jämtland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Kvarnström to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Republic of Jämtland's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evert Söderkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Republic of Jämtland had won after a very even match.
