Östers IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Erik Kiempe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jaroslaw Kaczynski hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Taktik M's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Magnusson came free, but Karl-Erik Falkrantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Taktik M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Ekgren to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Valler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Oddvar Wetteland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Falkrantz made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Erik Kiempe to make the kick off.
