When Göran Hääger in the 9th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Roy Björkman kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The supporters of Squidens IF booed when Sundsvall U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Backman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidar Törnkvist's shot from long distance in the 99th minute was not bad at all, but Squidens IF's Albin Odeen knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sundsvall U21 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
