When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Östers IF's Jimmie Mattsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aleksander Blixt. Östers IF's Herbert Valler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Österlund in the 12th minute of play. If Pelle Stigsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lovikka's Bernt Gerdberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Pelle Stigsson fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lovikka's protests and gave Pelle Stigsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lovikka getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pelle Stigsson hit a great ball. Östers IF's Herbert Valler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Österlund in the 28th minute of play. Oskar Österlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Valler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Österlund ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Östers IF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Adam Törnqvist hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 50 played minutes Lovikka got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Gerdberg. Lovikka's Aleksander Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Magnusson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Filipe Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Blixt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bernt Gerdberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Aleksander Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Silva in the 58th minute of the match. Oskar Österlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Herbert Valler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sivert Linberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Östers IF's Herbert Valler got control of the ball when Bernt Gerdberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herbert Valler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Gerdberg in the 70th minute. Östers IF's Herbert Valler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Östers IF from getting a goal against them. If Jens-Ove Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Österlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Valler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Österlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernt Gerdberg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Herbert Valler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lovikka. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Österlund got free with Herbert Valler in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oskar Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
