Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Timmy Finnman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Birger Fågel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albin Odeen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nils-Emil Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nils-Emil Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fridhem United's Timmy Finnman got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Nils-Emil Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Squidens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Emil Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. Jan-Ove Ahlroht came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Squidens IF's Göran Hääger. But to his dismay, Göran Hääger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nils-Emil Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Hääger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Ove Ahlroht having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Göran Hääger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fridhem United defense, Joar Majman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Ove Ahlroht. The Fridhem United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Ove Ahlroht should have stopped the shot. Jan-Ove Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Alebäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Albin Odeen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Fridhem United booed when Squidens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carl Björnberg fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squidens IF's protests and gave Carl Björnberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Squidens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Björnberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Nils-Emil Arvidsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Jan-Ove Ahlroht however easily saved by the left post. Jan-Ove Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Hääger in the 45th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jan-Ove Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Göran Hääger made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Göran Hääger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squidens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Hääger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Fågel in the 64th minute of play forced Squidens IF's goalkeeper Albin Odeen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karl-Johan Alebäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Squidens IF fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Squidens IF's Nils-Emil Arvidsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Fågel in the 75th minute of play forced Squidens IF's goalkeeper Albin Odeen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Fridhem United got a corner. Squidens IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludwig Runberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fridhem United's Ludwig Runberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Albin Odeen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Björnberg in the 78th minute of play forced Fridhem United's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Emil Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Ove Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Hääger in the 86th minute of play. Jan-Ove Ahlroht came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Squidens IF's Göran Hääger. But to his dismay, Göran Hääger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Hääger in the 91st minute of play forced Fridhem United's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Hääger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Ahlroht having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Nils-Emil Arvidsson made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Ove Ahlroht. Fridhem United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Squidens IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
